- Provide advise in the adaptation of the process for the scale up
- Improve overall performance of the process
- Reduce operational and fungible costs
- Selection of the key parameters for monitoring the performance of the process
- Product chromatographic characterization protocol development to enable the monitoring of the process
- Fermentation test for production process optimization and upscaling up from flask to 100 liters.
- Key parameters optimized:
- Inoculum preparation and adaptation to low cost production media
- Process conditions: pH control, dO2, agitation, residence time, biomass production, fermentation media
- Selection of best conditions for increasing the production of the target compounds
