Kraft lignin biovalorisation into vanillin

To demonstrate vanillin production  from kraft lignin supplied by a Pulp&Paper company

To develop and optimize discontinuous production and separation of vanillin at laboratory scale (0.5-1 L), as well as perform the modelling, design and execution of continuous production and separation of vanillin in pilot plant (1-2 L/h). Both using real substrate (Kraft Lignin obtained from black liquors, supplied by pulp & paper industry).
