Syngas fermentation processes development for bioethanol production

To develop and evaluate  Syngas (synthesis gas produced by industrial company) fermentation processes  to obtain ethanol and acetic acid using acetogenic bacteria, both at laboratory and pilot scale.

• Laboratory scale syngas fermentation (flasks / bottle 50-1L)
• Laboratory scale syngas fermentation (bioreactor 3-5 L)
• Bioreactor modification to improve mass transfer (40 L): syngas injection system and agitation impellers modification
• Pilot scale syngas fermentation (40 L)
