PROJECT SCOPE & CENER ROLE
- Hydrothermal pretreatment tests on ground vine shoot biomass at laboratory scale, including:
- Compositional characterization of the starting material.
- Pretreatment tests to determine optimal conditions according to the experimental design proposed by CENER regarding:
- Medium
- Temperature
- Acid/base catalyst
- pH
- Evaluation of results through enzymatic hydrolysis, determining sugar yield and inhibitor generation
- Production of pretreated vine shoot slurry under selected optimal conditions.
- Shipping of the pretreated slurry to the customer.
