Advanced MEMBranes & membrane assisted procEsses for pre- and post- combustion CO2 captuRe

To demonstrate currently state-of-the-art capture technologies in industrially relevant environment.

To scale-up & manufacture advanced materials and to prove their added value in industrially relevant conditions (TRL 6) in novel membrane based technologies that outperform current technologies for pre- and post-combustion CO₂ capture in power plants as well as H₂ generation with integrated CO₂ capture.

To demonstrate the pre-combustion CO₂ capture technology at the BIO2C facilities biomass gasifier (atmospheric 2MWth bubbling fluidized bed (BFB)).

The prototype will be tested for at least 550 h to deliver robust demonstration of the prototype performance in relevant conditions for pre-combustion CO₂ capture.
