PROJECT SCOPE
- Demonstrate the feasibility of hydrothermal liquefaction technology (HTL) at TRL 4 as a simple, sustainable and efficient solution for the production of advanced liquid biofuels from bio-waste. In short:
- Produce bio-crude from:
- Sewage sludge
- Organic fraction of municipal solid waste
- Define the improvement treatments (upgrading)
- Evaluate co-processing strategies
- Bio-crude production in continuous
