Valorization of waste protein

The overall objective of this project is to valorize the protein fraction of meat industry waste. The following tasks are being carried out:

• AdvanceBio pretreatment on a pilot scale to select optimal conditions for the thermal hydrolysis process. This includes:
  • Feed testing of a new raw material and setting operating conditions.
  • Selection of process conditions.
• Batch hydrolysis testing on a laboratory scale.
• Enzymatic hydrolysis testing on laboratory scale.
• Concentration of the hydrolysates
