PROJECT SCOPE
Development of a control system for biomass and heterogeneous wastes feeding, for its implementation in biomass boilers and other valorization processes, more robust, reliable, precise and stable than the current:
- Optimum plant operation with an adequate regulation of the flow fed
- Ensure feeding system reliability
- Develop a solids flow model
- Implement a logic control of the feeding system by adaptive control principles
CENER ROLE
- Project leader and activities coordinator
- Critical review of existing problems
- Demonstration feeding tests in the 2MWt bubbling fluid bed gasifier located in the BIO2C
- Solids flow model development
- Implementation of a new adaptive control system
- Integration and validation of the new control algorithm in long-term tests
